Trump Labels New Tehran Leadership a “Mistake” as War Objectives are Met

Date:

In a bold assessment from Florida, President Donald Trump has labeled the selection of Mojtaba Khamenei as Iran’s new Supreme Leader a “big mistake.” Trump asserted that the war against the regime is “very complete” because the country’s military infrastructure has been effectively dismantled. He framed the operation as a “short-term excursion” meant to eradicate “evil” and restore order to the Middle East.

The transition to the younger Khamenei follows the death of his father, Ali Khamenei, whose 37-year reign ended during the first moments of the U.S.-Israeli offensive. Trump has suggested that the new leadership lacks legitimacy and is unlikely to survive the current military and economic pressure. Meanwhile, coalition forces have continued to strike “broad waves” of targets to ensure total air and naval superiority.

Trump praised the “incredible performance” of the U.S. military, noting that the campaign is “very far ahead of schedule.” He claimed that the Iranian navy and air force have been “totally taken out,” leaving the regime with no way to retaliate. The President’s message to the American people is one of “ultimate victory” achieved with unprecedented technical precision.

The global oil market has stabilized somewhat after Trump suggested that the war could end “very soon.” Before his comments, oil prices had surged to near-record levels, threatening to derail the global economy. Trump warned that any “bad” behavior in the Strait of Hormuz would result in a U.S. strike “twenty times harder” than previous attacks.

While the President is optimistic, the regional impact has been severe, with mass displacement in Lebanon and significant casualties in Iran. Trump’s “not won enough” comment indicates that while the conventional war is winding down, the U.S. will remain engaged until the threat is neutralized. The world now watches to see the final outcome of this “very complete” war.
